Sweet Potato Casserole

Base
3 c. mashed sweet potatoes (about 2 lbs)
1 c. sugar
1tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk

Beat all ingredients with mixer. Pour into 9 x 12 casserole dish.

Topping
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. pecans
1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted

Mix brown sugar, pecans, and flour well. Sprinkle over sweet potato mixture. Pour melted butter over sugar mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes

*I didn't use all the sugar in the base. I used between 2/3 and 3/4 c. so it wasn't so sweet. I also used walnuts, not pecans*
