8oz rolled oats
1.5oz wheat germ
1.5oz unshelled sunflower seeds
3oz slivered almonds
Mix them together and bake in a 350degree oven for 15 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring every 5 minutes
6oz honey
1.75oz brown sugar
1oz butter
2tsp. vanilla
1/2tsp. salt
Combine in large pan and stir until sugar melts. Once melted and oat mixture is done, pour oat mixture into honey mixture and stir until evenly coated. Put in well greased 9x9in pan. Push granola down with a well greased second pan bottom. Bake in a 300degree oven for 25 minutes. Turn over onto cutting board and let cool for about5 minutes and then cut into pieces.
*I use shelled sunflower seeds. I don't want to eat the shell.*
